This policy explains what information PlanifieeAI ("we", "us") collects when you use our website, applications and services, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We aim to be straightforward and to collect as little as possible.

1. Information we collect

Account data: name, email, password hash, and (if you choose to provide it) a profile photo and phone number. Journey data: the countries, purposes and timelines you tell us about, plus the documents you upload (passports, certificates, photos, etc.). Payment data: handled by our PCI-compliant providers (Stripe, PayPal, Paystack, CinetPay). We never store full card numbers. Usage data: standard server logs (IP, user-agent, timestamps), basic product analytics and error reports.

2. How we use information

We use your data to: provide the service you signed up for; let our AI agents and human reviewers prepare and verify your visa file; process payments; communicate with you (account, security, transactional emails); detect abuse and keep the platform safe; and meet our legal obligations.

3. When we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with: payment processors strictly necessary to take payment; sub-processors that host or operate our infrastructure (e.g. cloud storage, email delivery); our human reviewers and consulting advisors you assign to your journey; and authorities when legally required.

4. Storage, retention and security

Documents are stored encrypted at rest in our cloud object storage and accessed via short-lived presigned URLs. We retain your journey data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to comply with legal and accounting obligations. You can request deletion at any time — see Section 5.

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can: access a copy of your data; correct it; export it; ask us to delete it; object to certain uses; or withdraw consent. Email privacy@planifiee.ai and we'll respond within a reasonable timeframe.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

We use a small number of cookies that are strictly necessary (session, language preference, authentication) and optional ones for analytics. You can disable optional cookies in your browser without losing core functionality.

7. Children

Our service is intended for users aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from younger users. If a minor's data ends up on the platform (typically via a family journey), it is handled with the same care as adult data and only on instruction from the responsible parent or guardian.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be highlighted in the app and via email. The "last updated" date at the top always reflects the latest version.
